Due to lack of participation, Home and Community Education County Council voted to combine the Baked Foods Show, Wheatheart Contest and the Spring Baked Foods Show.  THERE WILL BE NO BAKED FOODS SHOW AT THE FAIR.  The show is open to all citizens of McCurtain County.  For rules and regulations please contact the OSU Extension Office, 580-286-7558.  All products become property of McCurtain County HCE Group for auction unless a hold has been put on the product to be pick-up at 1:00 p.m. the day of the show.

Monies raised from the Baked Goods sale will fund two 4-H Scholarships, one Clothing and one Food & Nutrition 4-H Project Recognition Awards.  The remainder of the proceeds will fund improvements to the Home & Community Education fairground building.  The winners of the Wheatheart Contest will be eligible to compete in the State Contest in September.

Entry time is from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., judging from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, when the auction begins at noon.  Kevin T. Sain, and Brad R. Oliver, of All Around Auctions Service Inc. will serve as auctioneers.
